RAF Hut 14
Black Country Living Museum
– Overview –
We originally dismantled the RAF Hut 14 in 2017, and it was later modified and rebuilt by the Black Country Museum. The most recent take down of Hut 14 commenced in 2020 to make way for the Forging Ahead project at the museum and it is due to be rebuilt August 2021, just behind one of our favourite projects Hobbs and Sons Fish & Chip Shop.
Hut 14 is thought to be from World War Two, and it’s title of Hut 14 (keeping with the RAF numbering system) is from Elmfield School address on Love Lane where it was used as classrooms from the 1960’s until 2016.
